Patient Information » Multifocal Contact Lenses
Mulitfocal contact lenses can compromise a patient's best corrected vision. Symptoms may include reduced distance and/or near vision, reduced steroacuity, glare or haloing effect at night.
It is the responsibility of the practitioner to assess the patient at the fitting of a new multifocal lens, and to judge whether the patient's visual requirements are being met for specific tasks such as driving.
